JOB DESCRIPTION –
Outlined below is the job description of the Implementation Planner. The list is not exhaustive and may be amended at any time by the Operations Manager or the Client Manager.
Business
·Advise on various solution options, taking into consideration Innogy`s strategic direction.
·Produce detailed configuration documentation for new systems or major changes
·Advise on re-deployment of surplus equipment
·Plan the technical aspects of the implementation and assist with environmental and computer room planning issues
·Raise change requests for productions systems using ASSYST
·Check deliveries against delivery notes and advise of any discrepancies
·Recommend most appropriate organisation to deliver implementation
Reporting
Produce detailed implementation plan including:
Installation check list defining roles and responsibilities
Ensuring equipment added to Innogy asset register (asset numbers, inventory data
Back up requirements
Hardware and software delivery dates
Install time and duration
Restoration issues including fall back plan
Procedure for handling any replaced inventory
Fixing of asset labels and updates to the Innogy inventory database
Provide detailed report for the Monthly Report provided to the customer, including:
Implementation work planned
Implementation work completed
Consultancy charges.
Requirements
The candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a customer facing role and be able top maintain customer satisfaction whilst working under pressure.
Must demonstrate experience of working to SLA`s.
Ideally conversant with ISO 9001*2 procedures and ITIL. Must and possess excellent communication skills and an analytical mind.
Should be fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite of products. In particular
Access, Excel and Visio.
Sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge of servers and storage to be able to plan work effectively. In particular Storage Area Networks.
Broad understanding of Customer`s operating systems.
Adequate understanding of Electrical Regulations and Electricity at Work Regulations.
Practical experience of large installations.
